Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a slower, atmospheric adventure where you play a lamplighter wandering a mist-covered valley. There's no combat to speak of; instead you solve environmental puzzles, restore old lanterns, and slowly piece together what happened to the people who lived here.

The mood is the main character. Wind rustles through empty houses, the light from your lantern reveals hidden paths, and the ambient score gives everything a gentle melancholy. It's the sort of game you play with headphones at night.

Exploration is guided but never hand-holding. You'll find yourself sketching mental maps and doubling back when a new tool opens an old door. It's short, maybe six hours, but it lingers.
